Uncle Leo's Opens Quayside Beer Garden in Pictou

(Pictou, NS) - Uncle Leo's Brewery have opened up a Craft Beer Garden in Pictou Nova Scotia called Quayside Beer Garden. It has spectacular views of Pictou Harbour on the pier next to the replica of the Ship Hector. It has 8 rotating taps of Nova Scotia Craft Beer and Cider as qwell as  Red and White wine from Jost Vineyards.  The beers for Quayside are posted on Social Media on its its own Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Uncle Leo's Brewery Releases Barrel Aged Smoke'n Oakum

(Lyons Brook, NS) - Uncle Leo's Brewery released their first ever barrel aged beer, Smoke'n Oakum. It is a tribute to the Phantom Ship of the Northumberland Strait. Smoked Porter was aged in a Glenora Whiskey barrel resulting in beautiful flavours from the whiskey and the oak. On sale at the Brewery and select private stores, the 200 L produced of the 9.2% ABV ale will disappear fast. 

Uncle Leo's to Release Special Oktoberfest Sampler

(Lyons Brook, NS) - Uncle Leo's Brewery is releasing a special 4-pack Oktoberfest Sampler. The package will include the multi-award winning Voh's Weizenbier, the multi-award winning Altbier, Ceilidh Ale Kölsch and introducing NACHTical Illusion Schwarzbier.
Created in honour of Oktoberfest that attracts 6 million people annually and has been held since the middle ages. Each of the four styles highlight a region of Germany. Altbier is from Dusseldorf, Kölsch from Cologne, Weizenbier from Bavaria and Schwarzbier from the Southeast. 

The sampler packs will be available at the brewery this week end and hitting the NSLC shelves in a week or so and is for a limited time only, until November 19 or while supplies last and should be retailing for around $16.60.
