A special message from Picaroons "Folks, we need to tell you something. We've had some 'trouble in the brewhouse' and are now left with a very limited quantity of: THE TRAGICALLY HOP'd Pale Ale. This beer, in all seriousness, is our own little tribute to the greatness that is The Tragically Hip and their final show this Saturday August 20th that is bringing so many people in this country together. This beer will exclusively be at the Fully Completely In The Square beer garden + at The Brewtique in Downtown Fredericton, AND at the Picaroons General Store in Uptown Saint John, this Saturday August 20th. While Supplies Last. Let's all celebrate one of the greatest gifts this country has ever had - THE HIP! (The Beer deets: We've simply tRaGiCaLlY dry-hopped a 4.5% alc./vol. pale ale with silly amounts of Vic Secret, Galaxy, Summit, Sapphire, Topaz, and Warrior Hops.)"

Railcar Brewing have made six special kegs of beer to put on tap starting Friday for pints / growler fills until they are gone. It's no secret that the Tragically Hip is one of Mitch's favorite bands. Saturday they are streaming their last concert upstairs at A.C. Sharkey's Pub. Donations will be taken at the brewery Saturday all day for the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research and will be matched by Railcar. Here are the kegs that are Railcar's tribute to the Hip:
