Bagtown Brewing opens in Sackville NB

(Sackville, NB) - I recently talked to Robbie Baxter, President, of Bagtown Brewing about New Brunswick's newest nanobrewery. The new Sackville brewery is student owned and operated spawning from a senior commerce course at Mount Allison University. The company was conceived about a year ago and after many months of hard work it has come to fruition. They also acknowledge some great help from Tatamagouche Brewing and Flying Boats Brewing.

Bagtown will initially brewing one beer following the credo do one thing and do it well on a 10 gallon system at a space in Sackville Commons & Coworking (former fire hall and RCMP detachment).

Their first beer is Wobbly Duck and is a medium bodied English Pale Ale with a low carbonation. It is golden in colour with a moderate hop aroma and a mild bitterness. You will be able to taste a mix of fruity, earthy and malty flavours with a smooth finish.

After a successful soft launch on April 1st they are having a Launch Event Saturday on April 8th from 8 to 10 PM.
