Fredericton Craft Beer Festival celebrated its fifth successful year last month. The festival had two sessions on Saturday March 11th where 58 breweries from six provinces poured over 220 different beers, ciders, and meads. Over 5200 litres of beer was served to about 1,750 people. The event has become as popular with brewers as craft beer fans as a week end to reconnect and meet brewers from around the region.
Their slogan says "It's all about the beer. Pure, simple." but it also raised over $20, 000 dollars for charities including primarily Diabetes Canada with additional amounts to Wounded Warriors Canada, NS Down Syndrome, Heart and Stroke and Children's Wish.
Hats off to Lloyd Chambers, Nicole McCarty their army of 50 loyal volunteers and promoting good beer and good deeds.
Mark your calendars when it returns on March 10, 2018.
