North Brewing Marks Battery Park's 2nd Birthday With Beer Release

(Halifax, NS) - North Brewing will mark Battery Park Beer Bar's 2nd birthday this Saturday, December 16th, with the release of their barrel aged 2016 Saison de Pinot. This beer was originally made in the fall of 2016, using estate pinot noir grape must from Benjamin Bridge. They tucked away 220 L of this beer in a red wine barrel from Benjamin Bridge, and let it age for 4 months. The beer was then conditioned in the bottle. They packaged 258 bottles that will be available in both the Halifax and Dartmouth shops. 
On Saturday Battery Park Beer Bar will offer bottle pours of both the 2016 Saison de Pinot and the 2016 barrel-aged version as well as the 2016 Saison de Pinot being available on tap.
